We had a fantastic stay at these centrally located apartments. the Art Deco building was charming, with a lovely courtyard and balcony. Despite the studio apartment being small, it was perfect for our overnight stay. We were able to easily walk to all the restaurants and bars in the area. the owner/manager, Fred, was excellent in his communication and hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even assisting with our motorcycle. the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. the added bonus of Sky TV was a nice touch. the communal area with a view of the harbor was a great spot for morning coffee. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again when we return to the area!
Not one thing! 😊.

I got great value for my money at this charming Art Deco apartment in the heart of the city. The room was cozy and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and sofas. The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the harbor, and the staff went above and beyond by offering to drive us to the ferry on a rainy day.
The breakfast selection could be improved with sharper knives and a different type of chopping board.

Setting close enough to the centre of town, all the shops and various museums. Vews to the whole town and gardens.

Fun Art Deco theme: The apartment was like stepping into a time machine, with its vintage decor and stylish Art Deco touches. I half expected to see Gatsby waiting in the lounge, swirling a martini with a mischievous grin.
Limited parking spaces.

The apartment was conveniently located near the main street, harbor, and trail walks. the owner was friendly and even picked us up from the ferry terminal. the apartment was clean, tidy, and had a homely environment. There was a nice communal area with a table and chairs overlooking the harbor. the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and tea and coffee were provided. a great place for those with physical handicaps.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.

We had such a lovely time at Art Deco Apartments. It felt like coming home after two weeks of traveling in New Zealand. The warm and beautifully decorated apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. The location was fantastic, near the dock and all the shops and restaurants. We were greeted with a warm welcome and provided with all the information we needed. The owner's wife had styled the room with lovely quirky pictures and objects, adding a unique touch to our stay. The apartment offered great value for money and had a very special view.
